The second mill in the village, which was already mentioned in 1765, is housed in the large half-timbered building located at the corner of Rue de l'Église and Rue des Prés.
Like the lower mill (station 4), it has two "turning" mechanisms, including one for grinding flour. It operates using water from the stream and a small pond that no longer exists, replaced by a housing development on the hill across from the small residence.
This mill closed its doors after World War I. There are almost no external traces left of the activity in this building.
The upper mill was in operation until the end of World War I. It was abandoned because there were fewer and fewer farmers: in the 1970s Wentzwiller had 24 farmers, whereas nowadays only 5 remain.
